Family Relocation

Talbot FamilyThe Talbots are a typical family with two children who decide to move to California.  Mom, Julie Talbot, has found a better job, so the family is embarking on a big move to another state.  Everyone is initially elated before reality sets in.

Julie wonders:  "How can I help the children adjust?  "Will I find this new job satisfying and inspiring?"  "Will I enjoy my co-workers as much as I did in Minnesota?"

Jeff, Julie's husband, wonders:  "Even though this move is right for Julie, is it right for me?"  "Will I find a job that I like?"  "Will the hard work of moving be worth it?"

The children wonder:  "Will I make new friends?"  "Will there be ballet and track opportunities?"  "Will school be harder and will I be prepared?"  "Will my room be as large as the one in Minnesota?"

Follow the Talbot family through 12 stages of adjustment in their new home.  For each stage, you will discover ideas, tips, and inspiration for your family when your big move happens.
